Cataloging: Assignment 7 - Relationships

What makes RDA and MARC21 work is the relationship feature. This can allow a patron to limit via those relationships. For example, the Keyword search results for "Bono" are incredibly numerous. Sonny Bono, Bono from U2, Cher, Chaz Bono, books about the above Bonos, pro bono, Edward de Bono, and many more. A patron can limit to a subject of "Bono (1960-)" and limit to materials about Bono, as he is the subject. Or they can limit to the creator field, and get articles written by him, or by the "performer" field and music he's performed. It can be quite interesting.

I got a 98 on this assignment.
In Part 1, we were to give the relationships everyone had with the work in question. I lost my 2 points here, because I missed a relationship designator for the Dixie Chicks.

In Part 2, we were to create an enhanced table of contents for this collection of essays. This means that we marked the chapters as individual works, which allows a patron to search for a particular essay by title or author. Or find a particular essay with an author search.
